Gladiators.
I saw Gladiator last Saturday and I was completely blown away by it. Russell Crowe is fantastic as General Maximus, who is betrayed, becomes a slave and later a gladiator. When he is a gladiator, he seeks to revenge his wife and son, who were brutally murdered by the the new emperor. There are spectacular battle- and fightscenes in gladiator, great characters(both hero and villian) a blockbuster-soundtrack and also a great story. I can`t recommend you enough to see this movie. This has to be one of the best films in 2000.

If I could give this movie 100/10 I would. I have no words, been watching since I was 5 years old, over and over and over with my dad. Know every word, every melody. Hans Zimmer can never ever ever go wrong. Just absolutely amazing. Never fails me even though I've for sure seen it 100+ times, just keeps on getting better and better. Will forever be a classic. I'm hoping people will discover it for themselves, so I'm not giving anything anyway. Suffice to say that nobody will EVER be able to say "They don't make them like they used to" anymore. Commanding performances, jaw-dropping visuals and shockingly exciting action sequences are only a few of the excellent components of Gladiator. I envy all of you who have yet to see it.
